It was my birthday the other day and I (after much indecision) ended up making vanilla pudding cookies, replacing the chocolate chips for m&m’s. When they were fresh from the oven I thought they were too sweet and buttery, but once they cooled completely they were delicious! I put rice krispies in half of the dough (the cookies on the right) but I prefer the regular ones.
My recipe is one I found several years ago, but this one is the same except for the pudding amount. It calls for a 3.4 oz box of pudding (probably a typo?), and mine calls for a 4 oz. Also, I used all of the brown sugar but only half the amount of the granulated sugar, but because of the sugar in the pudding mix, I think you could leave the granulated out completely.
