From my Williams-Sonoma cookbook…Blueberry Banana bread!  The light banana flavor gave the bread a nice extra something, and it was super soft and delicious.  I’ll definitely make it again, and maybe next time with pecans (I ran out and used walnuts instead).Recipe

Yesterday:

“What about these?  No, they need to load more.”
…..”What?  I mean, um.  Ripen!” 

Me, while picking blueberries.

An hour and a half’s worth of blueberry pickings!  While I was picking these last evening a little deer came out to see me from the edge of my yard (there’s a little woodsy bit).  Well, it came out and darted right back in…close enough!

I had a craving for strawberries on ice cream, so I did something about it!  I threw on some blueberries too, but they tasted kinda weird with the ice cream.
