This is a doll I made in 2009 from a Mimi Kirchner pattern via the Purl Bee.  The embroidery floss on the bottom of her dress is looking a bit ratty now, but I still like how her face came out.

I altered this giraffe doll to be auctioned off at a charity auction for the not for profit organisation Seven Women which provides skills, training and employment for disabled women in Nepal to become self sufficient by making craft.
It was much fun! All the profits went back into the charity.

A giraffe turned into a dragonesque/fantasy creature is definitely the best makeover ever.  Ahh, so cute, so awesome!
