Remember my paper deer?  My sister-in-law saw them and requested some for my nephew’s room, with the addition of a buck and the color yellow.  I like them :]

Back in April I made these deer silhouettes, thinking I would make a collage in my art journal.  I couldn’t get them to look right, so for now, here’s a scanner collage!To make them, I printed out deer pictures (mostly from flickr), cut them out, and traced them onto card stock.  They’re much prettier in person…silly scanner!

An hour and a half’s worth of blueberry pickings!  While I was picking these last evening a little deer came out to see me from the edge of my yard (there’s a little woodsy bit).  Well, it came out and darted right back in…close enough!
