I’m loving these redone vintage watches from metaletlinnen, and Etsian from South Korea.

The tops of vintage thread spools, mostly wooden.I scanned these a while ago and forgot about the picture.

Years ago at an antique store, I found a lovely toy double decker bus that I would have bought if it hadn’t been so pricey.  I now have the one pictured because it turns out I had one in my house!  Now for a vintage toy English phone booth?  I saw a real, life-size one for sale at a thrift shop once!

Pretty garden club booklets from the late 60’s to the mid 90’s.  (My mom’s been a member for a few years and was given the old booklets).

I have a soft spot for vintage and/or found items, and I’ve been drooling over library cards of late.  I couldn’t take it any longer and snatched up these beauties on Etsy.  The sad thing is, I value them too highly to cut up or do anything with, so…I suppose they’re just eye candy.

So I really really want to make this dress and wear it all the time.  I’m growing out my hair (notice the shortness), so once I have my long curls back, I could totally pull it off.  And these vintage inspired boots are perfect!Sewing pattern from Simplicity.

My recently purchased 1960’s Arabian Nights book.  It goes nicely with my Robin Hood book!

What’s this?

It’s a portable turquoise typewriter!  Isn’t she gorgeous?  I tested it out and the ribbon is dry, so I have to order a new one.  I had no idea they still made them (and before a few days ago I didn’t know what a typewriter ribbon was).  I can’t wait to use it!

Months ago, I was bumbling about in a thrift store when I came across a vintage comic book.  It was perfect for cutting up and using for things.  There was no publication date, and I eventually looked it up.  1950.  It turns out, Mansion of Evil was the first graphic novel ever published!  And I have a copy of it.  Ebay had a pristine copy of it for 96 dollars….but I’m keeping mine.  Plus, it’s very battered.  The main female character and I share the same name, too.  Beth!
